In this article we are going to go through how to set up a Activity calendar from scratch. We'll have quick look at the different processes that are available and the pre-made activities that can be used.

Creating the year plan

The first step is to select the process you'll create the calendar for. Depending on the process, specific activities will be displayed. For accounting services, choose the accounting process. For payroll, pick the main payroll process. If the company has multiple different payroll runs, you can use the additional payroll processes to separate them.

The next step is to click on "Manage Activities" and to add by drag and drop the desired activities from the left side into the calendar for certain months and days. The initial status of the calendar will be "Incomplete".

When adding an activity, there is the option to choose the time, the owner (either the Azets partner that is handling the payroll/accounting or the customer company), and to set it as repeatable (weekly or monthly). Comments can also be included.

Activities can also be added by clicking on a certain day and choosing the activity from the drop-down list of activity types. Besides the predefined activities, there is also the option to choose "Other activity" and to rename it as needed. "Other activity" should be used as only as an exception.

After adding all the activities, just click Save. The status will remain Incomplete until you send it for approval.
