How to set limits for balance types, reporting types and live balances

Set limits for balance types

When you are creating the new balance type you can set maximum and minimum limits for the balance types. If these limits are set then the value for that balance type cannot be higher or lower than the limits. An error message will be displayed that explains the limit.

Set limits for reporting types

If you want to set daily limits for the reporting types you can open the reporting types that you are planning to connect to balance and then set the maximum and minimum limits there. So example users are allowed to report + or - 4 hours a day. You can set the daily limit for the reporting type and the overall balance limit for the balance type.

Set limits for live balances

For the live balances, the limit works only for hourly time types. When the limit the value of the reported type is over the limit, an error message will be displayed.
